Lanier Technical College in Georgia is now offering both credit and non-credit courses in solar energy. The only NABCEP certified provider in the state - offering the Solar PV Entry Level - Certificate of Knowledge Class and Exam.

Savannah Technical College offers a 19-hour credit program in Photovoltaic Systems Installation and Repair Technician Certificate. The objective of the program is to provide students with the knowledge and training to install, inspect and repair solar systems.

Solairgen, Inc in Dahlonega, GA offers training courses on Solar PV and Solar Thermal system design and installation.

Florida Solar Energy Center (based in Cocoa, FL) offers training in Solar PV design and installation.
