The State of Georgia is making funds available to help local
public facilities go solar! A special program through the Georgia Environmental
Finance Authority is making funding available to local landfills and water
systems to install solar for their energy needs. With 98 permitted landfills
statewide and more than 300 water systems, this creates some great new
opportunities for solar installations.

for GEFA, will explain the Authority’s Energy Production and Conservation loan
program. GEFA has long been involved in the state’s solar development and
continues to bring innovation and support to expanding the state’s clean energy
