The following organizations offer training in Solar technology design and installation:

MAGE Solar Academy in Dublin, Georgia is now offering hands-on training across 10,000 square feet of state-of-the art classroom and outdoor space. Intense 5-day training courses will be offered on a regular basis throughout the year. The course catalog includes classes like ‘Solar PV 101: Entry Level’, ‘PV Sales and Marketing’, ‘PV Mounting Systems’, and ‘Advanced PV: NEC Compliance’ and is likely to be expanded in the near future. Classes with technical focus will be able to train using a variety of the latest technology the solar industry has to offer in terms of inverters, panels, mounting systems, solar trackers etc.

Solairgen School of Solar Technology provides solar PV installation training for both entry level and industry professionals. We train state technical colleges' educators, engineers, architects, electricians as well as people who are just entering the solar industry. Courses range from IREC accredited PV 203, entry level PV Installation and Design, to NABCEP PV certification exam preparation and NABCEP approved recertification classes for certified installers. Solairgen is a registered provider of the NABCEP Entry Level Achievement Exam.

Gwinnett Tech For those who wish to become professionally trained in the design and installation of PV systems, this technical certificate of credit program provides that training. Graduates will have the opportunity to enter the workforce as technicians specializing in electrical applications of installation, inspection, and repair of solar panels in the electrical construction industry.

Savannah Technical College offers a 19-hour credit program in Photovoltaic Systems Installation and Repair Technician Certificate. The objective of the program is to provide students with the knowledge and training to install, inspect and repair solar systems.

Southface Energy and Environmental Resource Center in Atlanta, GA offers a variety of courses on energy efficiency building design and construction.
