The Georgia Solar Energy Association, in coordination with national leaders for Women in Solar Energy (WISE), will hold a forum on Women in Solar from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at 5 Seasons Brewing Company, 1000 Marietta St., NW, Atlanta.

  Speakers will include Keynote Speaker Katy Breazeale, CohnReznick Partner in Charge of the South Central Region Transaction Advisory Group for Renewable Energy, discussing the importance of the federal Investment Tax Credit extension in continuing solar development throughout the Southeast. A panel of women now playing key roles in Georgia’s solar market will discuss their work and offer advice for women aspiring to successful solar careers.
   All are welcome! This isn’t just an event for women. Part of a national celebration of the contributions women are making in the growing U.S. solar industry, Georgia’s WISE event will feature women who are moving Georgia’s solar industry forward. They will discuss industry growth and opportunities here, and the special challenges they face.
   Registration will include light fare and Happy Hour beverages at the conclusion of the program. Watch for more details coming soon.
